The Spiral Jetty

To continue our weekend adventures, we decided to follow a sign from the Golden Spike Monument that said Spiral Jetty 16 miles. The road was not paved and near the end we had to go at a snails pace to drive over lava rocks. We were greatly surprised to see the Spiral Jetty was just a spiral of lava rocks on the dry salt bed on the North side of the Great Salt Lake. So, Valentin got a second trip to the Salt Lake. The area was very interesting because it had huge chunks of salt that looked like snow. In fact, the whole area looked like snow.
