Kaelei At Homecoming

Left to right: Ben and Camille, Tom and Kaelei, and Laralynn and Lance. Since Kaelei only had a few days to find a dress, she had a hard time finding one that was modest dress in a decent price range. All the stores were carrying formal dresses with thin straps or no straps and prices were high. Mom and Kaelei finally decided to take and chance and look at the D.I. She was in luck. She found one for $15 that was the right color and style, but it was too long and strapless. Deb suggested she could try cutting it off and making a jacket out of the remaining material. As you can see from the pictures, it worked. Sometimes being adventurous pays off. Later Kaelei found out her date paid double the price of her dress for a tie to match.
