Kennecott Copper Mine

We visited the Kennecott Copper Mine today. A few weeks ago, Valentin asked about it because you can see it from all over the valley. Deb hadn't been there since she was a kid and Brookelle and Jaxzen hadn't been their before. Brayden came on a field trip years ago, so we decided to go. We were impressed. Some of the workers were setting up a blasting sequence right below the viewing area, so we got to watch them, however, we had to leave the area when they were ready to blast so we didn't get to watch the actual blast. The Wardle family came also: Beverly (mom), Julia, Tallen, and Charity. The Warldle's are our cousins.
